CLAUDIA D’AURIA

Claudia D’Auria is a Buffalo born, NYC based Artist and Designer. She is a graduate of the Cooper Union School of Architecture. In her work, Claudia reflects on our relationship to a simultaneously organic and inorganic environment. She approaches design through an intuitive and socially active process. Claudia’s work engages the thresholds between ‘natural’ and ‘artificial’ through scales and temporalities of tactile elements of nature. Claudia has exhibited work both individually and with the art collaborative Virocode at MOMA in New York City, MOMA PS1 in Queens, New York, YoungArts Jewel Box Gallery in Miami, Florida, SUNY Fredonia and Box Gallery in Buffalo, New York.
