Almere Hout seeks to realize these desires:
1. A place of profound physical singularity, remarkably attractive in its urban character.
2. Offers great scope for individual expression and abundant opportunity for the accommodation of difference in the construction and occupation of private environments.
3. A strong partnership between and private initiative with the public sector providing a singular and delightful infrastructure to conduce the widest range private possibilities.
4. Structured around strong neighborhoods with clear centers and shifting, overlapping, boundaries.
5. Neighborhoods emerge organically within sympathetic frameworks proposed by this plan.
6. The plan as a whole offer possibilities for autonomous development at every scale and include the potential for fundamental change over the period of Almere Hout’s construction.
