Zachary received a Masters of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP 2009 and a Bachelors of
Science in Architecture from Arizona State 2005. At Columbia, he focused on urban agricultural
issues, as well as research in building technologies. He assisted teaching in Kenneth
Framptonâ€™s Studies in Tectonic Culture class and headed the Digital Architecture Lab in
the undergraduate department. Digital prototyping research includes personal and
collaborative installations of wall systems in a gallery in Phoenix, Arizona as well as Columbia
University and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He has worked for offices in
Phoenix, AZ, Portland, OR, and New York, NY. He is currently working on water management in
a Sao Paulo favela and the urban agriculture project at Terreform.
