Wagdy Moussa was born in Cairo, Egypt. He moved to New York to pursue his architecture
degree. He is interested in research, theory, and urban design. Wagdy has obtained his
BArch Degree at the New York Institure of Technology and has been a visiting critic there. He
has gained international experience in offices in Egypt- Qatar and previously in the U.S. Wagdy
was the winner of a competition to imagine a waste management facility in Nosara, Costa
Rica currently under construction. Wagdy's work includes a placing competition entry for
Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi Student Activity Center, Milan Italy; as well as enteries
for competitions in Busan, South Korea, Doha, Qatar, and Washington D.C.
