Thilani is pursuing her Master of Architecture at the University of Toronto prior to completing a
BECs in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. Her focus prior to entering architecture was
on environmental engineering, green process design, and appropriate uses for renewable
resources. Her research concentrating on Hydrogen Production processes via dark
fermentation was awarded a Capstone prize by industry members for innovative process
design. Thilani will be taking a year off to pursue similar interest through architecture and will
return to school to complete her final phase in the Masters of Architecture Program in 2011.
