Natalia was honored with the first Varagkis scholarship to pursue her second master of
science in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University, in 2009. Prior to that, she
was trained in architectural firms in NYC and Greece. She earned her first master of science in
Architecture-Space Planning from the National Technical University of Athens. Her research
focuses on the trash artifacts as a sign of the refusal praxis and investigates the dynamics of
hacking design methods through a potential informative mapping towards to a new praxis of
collective eco-adaptability. Her work has been exhibited in events such as Un-Built 2008:
Swarm Micro-Architectures, Thessaloniki Biennale: Public Screen Project. Finally she is a
co-founder member of the Network Nomadic Architecture.
