Mina Rafiee


Mina received Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute at 2012 and bachelor of architecture
from University of Tehran- Iran. She has worked at  BIG, New York and Bernard Khoury in
Lebanon .  She had a contribution on the book The Function of form by Farshid Moussavi. Her
interest is on complex geometries and building systems on housing as one of the basic
human rights by addressing today’s global needs, preserving natural resources, halting
deforestation, slowing pollution, healing communities and cultures shattered by globalization,
sheltering the homeless and refugees, Her interest concentrate on the technology and
designs inspired by complex geometries using natural elements by unskilled workers using
on-site materials and wastes.
