Elisabeth Haid

Elisabeth Haid graduated from the Innsbruk University in Austria. She received a Masters with
Distinction in Architecture in 2011 and in Art History in 2012. Her work was exhibited and
published internationally; most notably, she is the co-editor of 'Architektur Zeichensall 4', a
compilation of more than 30 diploma projects and essays published by Springer Wien-New
York in 2012. Her research tackles socio-culltural and environmental issues concerning
multiple facets of space, her interest lies in experimental and conceptual approaches. Part of
her theoretical research is exploring the relationship between art and architecure. Most
recently her work focuses on the potentials of abandoned infrastructure and the possibilities of
reintroducing natural-manmade- landscapes into the city-fabric as part of a sustainable urban
ecosystem.
